From LSC Network Administration and Cybersecurity to SCSU Cybersecurity

Complete your two year degree at Lake Superior College. Then attend St. Cloud State University online or on-campus. All 72 credits completed at Lake Superior College will transfer to St. Cloud State University. Here is your plan:

Save thousands on your bachelor’s degree. Complete the Network Administration and Cybersecurity A.A.S. at Lake Superior College and then transfer to St. Cloud State University (SCSU) to earn a bachelor’s degree without losing credits or having to take extra courses. LSC partners with St. Cloud State (SCSU) to offer the second two years of their four-year bachelor’s degree in IT Security on the LSC campus.

The Transfer Agreement between Lake Superior College and St. Cloud State University provides a means to earn a Cybersecurity, Bachelor of Science degree at St. Cloud State University.

  • The Cybersecurity B.S. can be used in multiple career fields
  • All 72 credits earned with the LSC Network Administration and Cybersecurity AAS degree will transfer to St. Cloud State University
  • 63 additional credits at SCSU will be required for completion of the Cybersecurity B.S. degree

Lake Superior College A member of Minnesota State

LSC students will need to take some pre-program courses before being eligible for SCSU junior-level courses. Students with no prior coursework will need to take:

  • Calculus (Pre-Calculus)
  • Into to Programming
  • 9 extra General Educations credits (which meet the course requirements for SCSU general education)
