Overview
With the ever increasing demand for professional truck drivers, job placement from the Lake Superior College trucking program is excellent. Upon the completion of the truck driving – advanced, you will obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and learn tractor-trailer basic and advanced operation techniques. You will also have a driving internship with local trucking companies. You’ll leave with the skills and knowledge to be a professional truck driver!

- Demonstrate basic and advanced vehicle operation and control
- Become Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation qualified
- Complete driving internship
Pre-Program Requirements
Students must be able to pass and possess the following:
- Class A CDL permit – No major driving violations in the previous five years
- DOT physical
- Pass a drug screen
