Overview
With the ever increasing demand for professional truck drivers, job placement from the Lake Superior College trucking program is excellent. Get you commercial driver’s license (CDL) while you learn how to drive a tractor-trailer. We’ll teach you about safety, how to maintain log books, and weight distribution. When you finish this program, you’ll have gotten your Class A commercial driver’s license. You’ll leave with the skills and knowledge to be a professional truck driver!

Program Features
A new addition to the Truck Driving Program is a state-of the-art Virage Simulator. The simulator has shown significant improvement in students’ ability to operate non-synchro manual transmissions. The results are better driving test scores, greater confidence and improved driving test pass rates.
Pre-Program Requirements
Students must be able to pass and possess the following:
- No major driving violations in the previous five years
- DOT physical
- Pass a drug screen
