Computer Information Systems (CIS) / High School Cybersecurity
If you are a high school student or teacher interested in cybersecurity, here are some resources to get you started.
Online high school curriculum
- The National Security Agency (NSA) provides cybersecurity curriculum free for high school teachers (or anyone else).
- High school/community college instructor, Tobin Shields, from Mt. Hood Community College has shared his entire curriculum complete with labs and videos with anyone who wants to use it.
Camps
- GenCyber and Advanced GenCyber camps are held at Lake Superior College each summer. CyberPatriot coaches can download all the materials for competition free on the CyberPatriot website.
- Students can participate in GenCyber camps at their high school.
Teams
- Students can participate in the Air Force Association’s Cyberpatriot Program at their high school.
