Are you ready to take the next step?

Overview

Build a robot! Enroll in the engineering CAD technology diploma for a solid understanding of CAD (computer-aided design). Build a robot as course work and compete in Lake Superior College’s Robot Wars! Along the way, you’ll learn about CAD and how it applies to engineering and manufacturing. We’ll teach you CAD 2D and 3D software programs and provide hands-on machine shop and welding experiences. As a CAD student, you’ll learn how to take a design from concept to initial design to prototype, to final product. Many CAD students find employment even before completing their program. They finish their second year of schooling while getting paid for the skills they previously learned.
